Party of giggles and belly laughs...

Last night we had a surprise birthday party for our friend Rhonda. It was a girls only party and it was awesome. There were a lot of giggles and even some belly laughs. I made my Mom's taco's and this morning Rhonda and I worked them off. Rhonda burned 450 calories! GO RHONDA!!!

Reasons to love him...

There are so many reasons why I love my husband. My top 3 are his love for the gospel, his love for me and his love for his children. He really is a great Dad. He just has a way of making the kids eyes light up when they see him. Last night instead of our typical hide and seek game the kids wanted to fly. You know when you lift them by your feet. They had a blast and then they all wrestled a bit. I watched, laughed, made sure no one was getting hurt and of course took pictures!

Snow

Yesterday morning started with me waking up feeling unusually refreshed. I then looked at the clock and realized I must have turned off the alarm clock. Aubree and Luke were refreshed as well. I got them to school about an hour late. On the way to school it started to snow. I was hoping when we got to school they would tell us to go home but they informed me it was not going to last. DARN! It would have been fun if it lasted to play in the snow. By the time I got home, did my exercise with my friend and showered the snow was just about gone! I am not a winter gal but I do like the first snow fall!

Little Diva

The camera is out is full force now and Aubree wants to make sure she gets her fair share of photo's taken. She makes me giggle with the way she poses for the camera. You would think I was behind the camera saying "work it, work it" In reality I just say something like "say cheese" and then I get a pose. Speaking of say cheese Ryan said "cheese" the other day when I took his picture. It was really cute. He has never said that before. He usually just tries to grab the camera from me like I am an annoying paparazzi following him. Last night Jamie and I went on a date. I watched him play basketball and then we went out for dinner. We were going to go to a movie but opted for a rental instead. It was a good date though. We got to talk and laugh at dinner. I think I needed that. I feel very refreshed. It was nice to come home and have time with the kids before they were off to bed. Our babysitters spent the night and fell asleep shortly after we got home. Thanks K and M for taking care of our babies!

Sticky fingers and a scraped lip

The weather has been awesome here. I am not a winter person but even I have been out to enjoy the cool air. Luke got a motorcycle for Christmas. His new favorite thing to do is ride it. He was riding and Ryan was trying to keep up with him by foot. Ryan fell right on his face. Momma cheetah went running for him. He was bleeding and crying. By the time we got in the house he was laughing. I took pictures just to have a sad little memory of his first big fall.

Last night we were at the church. Luke is a really sweet kid but, he has a problem thinking everything he sees and wants is okay to take. I really have to watch him to make sure he does not slip something in his pocket. Last night we got home and I guess he found a pile of pictures of the youth. I am assuming he sifted through them and found his favorite. He brought home a picture of our friends son Cory. When I asked him where he got it he put a huge smile on his face and said "yes, that's Cory" I will return the picture on Sunday...

A little girls dream...

Last night I went grocery shopping while Jamie stayed home with the kids. I have decided if I am going to try this new budget thing it is best not to bring little ones with me who have their own idea of what goes in the cart. While I was away, Aubree was sent to bed about 30 min. early for talking back. When I got home she was already asleep. Jamie told me the story of what happened and I agree he gave fair punishment. Last night Aubree got in bed with us. In the morning she told us she had a bad dream. Jamie asked her if she was still upset. She said "about what" it was clear all was forgotten. Then she remembered and said "oh yes, you made me go to bed early" they talked about it for a minute and then she told us in her dream she dreamed that a monster was chasing her and brothers and Daddy was only trying to save her brothers. OUCH! Jamie was so sad to hear she had that dream and assured her that would never happen in real life. She agreed with him and she new she had him right where she wanted him. Wrapped around her finger!

New Year!

Today is Sunday. The first Sunday of the month. Ryan has pink eye so Jamie stayed home with him. Today was special though. Luke started his first day of PRIMARY! He is a Sunbeam. Jamie and I talked to him about it and his remark to our enthusiasm was "No I in nursery". Well he did go to primary and I apologised to the leaders before hand and left. I hear he did well. I know he will get use to it. When I peeked in the room he was wearing Selena's (our neighbor) fake fur coat laying on the ground in Aubree's row playing with a car. Little Luke has a mind of his own. His new sentence is "Mommy, I cold. I get blanket". A son who is just like his Mom.

Aubree was thrilled to be a CTR 7! She loves learning about Jesus and our Father in Heaven. When ever our home teachers come over she always asks them "are you going to just talk or are you going to teach us about Jesus". It sounds rude but she is not trying to be she is just very to the point like her Mom.

Jamie again this year plans to lose weight. He is currently eating a chocolate bar while doing sit-ups! I love my man!

I have nothing to work on this year so I will just end this blog now! Ha! Ha! To be honest I have a lot to work on and I am thankful for a loving Father in heaven husband and family who are always there for me!
