10 YEARS!!!

On Friday (Feb. 19th) Jamie and I will celebrate our 10 year anniversary. When I married him I thought I could never love him more than I did. I was wrong. I loved him more when we had each child. I loved him more when we carried each other through the heartache of our trials. I loved him more going to Disney World for the first time. I loved him more when he got hurt and did not walk for several months. I loved him more when he baptised our little Aubree. I love him more when he reads the scriptures to our children and when he teaches them about the gospel in Family Home Evenings. I love him more when he leads by example. I am thankful to know as long as we both put effort into our relationship we will continue to love each other more!

Happy Valentines Day!

The kids were extra excited this Valentines day. Well, Luke was so there for he got everyone in the spirit. He would ask if he would get a toy for Valentines day and I would tell him no. Mom and Dad will give you a little candy treat. He seemed okay with that. The day before the big day Jamie goofed and told Luke he was getting a new toy for Valentines day. You would think it was Christmas morning the morning of. All the kids were so excited. It is fun to see the kids get so excited over something so small. I gave Jamie some cheap candy and he bought me some shoes I liked when we went shopping for some new clothes for him. The only problem is he got the wrong size and wrong color. Poor guy! He was disappointed that he did not get it right. I gave him an A for effort!

Eight is Great!

Aubree was baptised in January. She turned 8 in November but was a sweetheart and decided to wait until I could make it through the baptism without throwing up. I am amazed at her maturity. She can still be your typical 8 year old but she has a special sense of caring for others and understanding things I think a lot of kids her age do not pay attention to. I am very thankful that I am her Mother. The baptism was great. Papa Alford gave a talk a good friend of ours gave another talk and we had another friend sing... her voice really is beautiful. We are thankful for all our family who travled (Grandma, Papa, Aunt Jenna, Uncle Gio and baby Eisley)friends who attended to share this spacial day with Aubree.
