Ward Christmas Party

I was not planning on attending the ward party due to my upset stomach and nasty saliva problem I have with this pregnancy. I decided to go as the evening went on. I am glad I did. We took a family picture. It is not the best picture but... it is a picture! We did not make professional family Christmas pictures this year. This one will have to do! The food was awesome and I kept it all down! Luke and Aubree had fun playing with friends and Ryan was glued to my hip most of the night. I am starting to feel a little better. I still get sick, I have heart burn and I am pretty weak. I have a major saliva problem with this pregnancy as well. It honestly is really gross. I hate it. There is NO magic pill for it. I hope it will go away soon. I hate being gross. I am not really a prissy girl but I draw the line at spitting like I chew tobacco. That is me right now. So if you see me spit kindly ignore me. I promise not to spit on you!

It has been a long time..

As most know by now... I am PREGNANT! Ahh pregnancy...it has never been easy for me. They say every pregnancy is different. I do agree however, one thing is always the same. I get very sick. I have no pictures yet. Once I am feeling better (probably next month) I will post some. This is a short post and I am still bitter about being so sick so I think I will end it here. I hope by next month I will be able to post pictures and write about how blessed we are. For now I will just say Merry Christmas!!! I am so thankful for the sacrifice's of our Savior. I am thankful for my sweet family and all my friends. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

Strep

Dear Strep Throat,

Thank you for your visit. Although I have enjoyed having my children sleep a few more hours. I have not enjoyed all the extra laundry, the running from one bathroom to another and just the nasty feel of having a infected home. I would also like to actually get ready for the day. For the past week I have not put on makeup or fixed my hair and now I have a fat pimple on my face. I blame that on you! I think it is time for you to leave.

Down Syndrome of Louisville Buddy Walk 2009

Aubree and her friend Olivia collected donations for their friend Kendall who has Down Syndrome and in memory of Kendall's little brother Kallen who had Down Syndrome and sadly passed away almost two years ago. This is Aubree's second year collecting for her friend and Olivia has already asked if she can do it again next year. It warms my heart to see my child doing something for others. Our neighbors were so kind. For every donation she gave them a letter and a Kit Kat bar. The event was awesome and it was so fun to see all the supporters for our good friends. GO TEAM SPECIAL K! Can't wait until next year!

A full day of fishing

Our family went fishing for about 5 hours today! We have some friends who have a lake that is stocked with fish. The kids caught a ton of fish. It was great. Today was just a great bonding fun family day! I love days like today.

Softball

Aubs is playing fall ball. She is doing very well. It is so much fun to watch her. He brothers are her biggest fans. When she is up to bat you will often hear the boys yelling "go Aubree, you can do it". It is really cute!

Nature

Jamie almost ran this little guy over with his lawn mower. I think you are not supposed to touch them but it was pick it up or watch it get chopped up.

I just found these pictures of me and Jamie being nothing less that us in a photo booth in California this past winter. WE ARE TWO DORKS WHO LOVE EACH OTHER!

Happy Birthday Dad

I want to wish my Dad a big fat public HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Dad- I have no idea how old you are I know you are getting up there ;-) you have such a youthful spirit! Thanks for your example in growing and changing and loving no matter what. My children and husband adore you and I do too! I hope you had a terrific birthday. You are loved by so many people because you are wonderful! I love you Daddy!

Luke's 3rd year of Preschool

After much consideration and a lot of worry. Jamie and I decided to hold Luke back from Kindergarten. He was very excited about another year of preschool so we felt good about it. He just was not ready for elementary school and we feel he will do better if he waits until next year. Ryan started his preschool on Monday and today was Luke's first day.For having all three kids at school I am busy. I feel like I live in my car running around town! Ryan started preschool today!

Well, the day has come! My baby started preschool. I did not cry! He was sooo excited. He is going to Lukes old school and he has the same teacher. We are very excited about that because she is a exellent teacher, he loves her and he is familiar with the classroom. Jamie dropped him off and he said he would not even hold his hand because he wanted to hold onto the straps on his backpack. He said he walked right in with a HUGE smile on his face. Here are some pictures from this morning of him. There is also one of Aubree because she looked cute this morning.

Date Night

Tonight Jamie and I went on a much needed date. He took me out to dinner and then to see "The Time Travelers Wife". Must see good old crying chick flick. I adore Jamie because he has not seen GI Joe yet and he sacrificed and let me pick the movie. May seem so little to others but it meant a lot to me.

Aubree is in 2nd grade!

Aubree started 2nd grade this year. She has been so excited the past week to go back to school and then last night she cried her eyes out and asked me to home school her. She finally fell asleep and woke up feeling better. I met her for lunch today and she is doing great. I knew she would be okay... she is a lot like me when it comes to change... new class= scary anything new=scary! I know she will have a great year just like last year. She is growing up way to fast for me!
